Financial Data Mining with Excel Expertise

I am a freelancer and also help organize and coordinate the entire financial structure for Skylon Plasmec which is my start-up and is now a family-owned business as well as their daily operations to help ease their day-to-day activities. I also ensure that the data entered in Tally Software (automatic accounting software) is correct and shows the real picture of the business. Along with this, I have my expertise in QuickBooks as well. My role also involves looking for new customers to ensure the constant growth of our firm. Before this, I worked in FactSet Systems India Pvt Ltd. as a Conversion Specialist Consultant where my role was converting Company data, Index data, Economic data, etc as required by the clients who were switching their workstations to FactSet. Also, I worked alongside with sales and general consultant team to help them create spreadsheets that can be useful and value-added to pitch to their new client. Along with these, my team and I worked on creating automated conversion sheets which could help save time in the future as it would just convert data in a single click through the formulas we created. This was in the year 2015, I worked there for one and half years after which I had to drop out as I got married and shifted to another city. After my graduation in 2012, I was placed with ICICI Securities Primary Dealership Ltd as a Trainee where I handled the operational work required in dealing with a corporate bond. Settling the trade with the client, confirming the same with an online trading platform receiving or timely delivering the stock/cash and submitting the ending stocks of the day, etc. involved my day-to-day activities. During my Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a specialization in Finance, I worked on a project in Corporate Valuation where I developed my interest in looking at the financials of the company and helped them project their numbers and calculate the risk associated with their current operations. I worked and studied the same for Infosys and learned the way how the company's financials are looked into, what ratios are needed to know the current position of the business, calculate the risk, and use various financial models depending on the structure of a company.
