Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
Hi there,
We're a property management company with over 800 units and growing fast. We have a team of over 20 located worldwide from South Africa to India and we're looking for an experienced property to join our dynamic team.
Ideally you're looking for a full time, long term role - but if you're exceptional and looking for PT work we've always got space for superstars.
Overview
This position will suit an individual who has great attention to detail, strong organisation skills and someone who can work well to strict deadlines and under pressure, whilst still delivering world class service - we measure service levels 3 times a week!
A minimum of 2 years Property Management experience is required for this role, and if you are ARLA qualified then amazing but this is not essential.
The ideal candidate will be looking to work in an engaging, enjoyable and progressive culture with a strong work ethic to pull their weight, work hard and rise to the challenge.
If you're a good fit you'll embrace our 'all for one' philosophy and be prepared to get stuck in with a smile on your face.
You will be given training across the whole organisation in the first instance and job specific training.
Experience with Jupix and / or Alto - a huge bonus.
The Role - You'll need to:
Manage and distribute any emergency jobs, to ensure they are dealt with on the same day.
Manage maintenance requests and track daily to resolution, recording all in Jupix/ Alto.
Review Inspection and Check out reports, action as required and update relevant systems.
Ensure all instructed works are accurately charged onto the relevant landlord account.
Achieve sign off from landlords for maintenance requests to their property.
Liaise with trades to manage delivery and sign off on works.
Communicate all actions to be taken, including deadlines, to all clients.
Manage maintenance budgets and deliver to target.
Ensure all systems are updated on a daily basis.
Make sure all properties have relevant compliance certificates.
Maintain and build good relationships with trades, recruiting new trades where required.
Communicate with the rest of our team, including finance/lettings/sales/operations.
The Role Requires
Demonstrable abilities in organising self and others - the ability to prioritise is crucial.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fluent English is essential.
Ability to manage and prioritise a range of tasks – own and others (primarily others outside the organisation)
Excellent time management across a range of activities
Good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office on a day-to-day basis as well as web-based applications like: Asana and GSuite.
An eye for detail and an absolute commitment to quality and service.
The ability to work in a self-managed way as well as working well within a team
Excellent telephone manner
Ability to accept and execute tasks without the need for follow up.
That's all about the role. To be a good fit you need to be happy, energetic, enjoy your work and be enthusiastic.
As I said ideally we want you to be looking for a long term full time role, but we can be flexible for the right person.
Immediate start available and preferable. NDA will be required.
Anywhere in the world is fine, but working hours are strictly UK working hours and you must have reliable internet access and a quiet environment that allows you to make calls professionally.
If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear from you.
